What happens
We are subject to a horrible and cruel twist of fate: the British and the Germans are in an alliance with each other! We needed that crucial Germany support but the perfidious British dogs have beaten us to the punch! This is indeed a dark day in our history. We stand alone, with nobody to back us except the Turkish - who will almost certainly cower away in the face of a joint British-German effort to thwart us. Could we even blame them for doing so? Who in their right mind would stand up to such a powerhouse of a duo? Dare we even try?
