What happens
the British leader wrote a lengthy letter to the Turkish leader, explaining in some length that Britain cannot afford to get tangled up in a foreign crisis at this point in time. the British leader cited a lack of popular support for war in Britain and his own skepticism of Turkish preparedness for war with Russia as reasons for why Britain would not be getting involved. The Britain have acknowledged our control over the Turkish Straits, but they will do no more than that.
