whitepeace GER ENG— forces a white peace between the two tags, ending their war with no territory changing hands (aliaswp)annex POL— skip the war entirely and take all of a nation's land (see the annex guide)
Win the war you are in
Stack the deck before the shooting starts. Use instant_wargoal to justify war goals with no time or political cost, and keep your divisions modern and supplied with these cheats:

- add_equipment — keep every division fully equipped
- add_manpower — never run short on reinforcements
Tips
whitepeaceworks on any two tags, not just yours — you can end wars between other nations to reshape the map.- Boosting war support unlocks higher conscription laws and faster division recovery for a longer fight.
Frequently asked questions
How do you end a war instantly in HOI4?
Use whitepeace [tag] [tag] (alias wp) to force a white peace between two countries, ending their war with no territory changing hands. To instead seize land, annex [tag] takes a nation whole without a peace deal.
What is the white peace command in HOI4?
whitepeace, short alias wp, forces an immediate white peace between the listed country tags — for example whitepeace GER ENG ends the war between Germany and the United Kingdom with the pre-war borders intact.
How do I justify a war goal instantly in HOI4?
Toggle instant_wargoal in the console. While it is on, generating any war goal is instant and costs no political power or time, so you can declare war the moment you want.
How do I make my army unbeatable in HOI4?
Combine cheats: research all for modern equipment, add_equipment to keep divisions fully supplied, and add_manpower so you never run out of reinforcements. With those three your front line effectively cannot be ground down.
