An Homage to Love

An exceptionally inebriated and emotional King Carol II hijacked today's strategy meeting, calling everyone's attention to a 'brilliant' idea he came up with the previous night. Truly a romantic at heart, the King declared with tears in his eyes that he wished for the women in his life to know the intense and true love he feels for them. Addressing the Chiefs of Staff and the Cabinet with a lengthy, albeit rather slurred monologue, he appealed to their most delicate and heart-felt sensibilities, only to finish by solemnly calling for the renaming of two of the enemy's great cities as a tribute to that greatest and deepest of feelings known to man; love. The King has clearly become entirely fixated upon this idea in his mind, and he is highly unlikely to budge easily should we wish to dissuade him.
