What happens
The old alliance with Romania has lapsed in recent years. The threat of Germany and Hungary seemed remote. But in the face of a shifting situation, the Romanian leader has come to Warsaw to discuss a renewal of the Romanian-Polish Alliance. For the time being, this agreement is only defensive in nature, with both sides promising to support one another in case of war.
