French newspapers have been full of the exploits of Magda Lupescu in Paris, where she has reportedly been indulging in an extensive shopping spree. While this is not unusual in itself, reports that she enlisted help from the Romanian embassy to move her purchases and told stores to send the bill to the Romanian government have been picked up by the national press.
