What happens
Magda Lupescu, mistress of King Carol II, has reportedly purchased a new villa in an expensive suburb of Bucharest. How she could afford it was subject of extensive speculation. New evidence in foreign newspapers strongly suggests that the King himself authorized the purchase with government money. The scandal is spreading, and we must make a public announcement on the matter as soon as possible.
