What happens
A local lord in the nation has offered to raise a unit and commit it to the imperial army. The men will be recruited from local brigands and foreign volunteers, so they will come fully equipped and battle ready. Losing authority right now is of course a risk, but gaining more troops will certainly increase the chances of winning the war.
