What happens
As we increasingly centralize political and economic control of Ethiopia, there remains great anxiety over the military. If they were to turn on us, we would have little chance of resisting their demands. Therefore, we have started to introduce political officers into the armed forces to ensure that the troops don’t get any unapproved ideas.
