Zog Defiant

Diplomats from the newly established government in Italy have been sent to negotiate with Albanian ruler, King Zog, seeking to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and attempting to pressure Zog into applying more socialist policies in Albania. Maybe feeling that the days of the Albanian Monarchy are coming to an end, or maybe just out of pure despite for socialism, King Zog has refused to talk to the Italian officials, urging the Albanian people to resist pressure from Italy. Nevertheless, foreign military experts agree that Albania has little chance of resisting an invasion should the Italian government take action.
