The nation Submits to Italian Demands

Perhaps unsurprisingly to many, the nation has accepted Italian demands for subjugation. While its government held out hope of avoiding occupation, it became increasingly clear that the colonial powers of the region would not be coming to their aid, nor would neighboring Ethiopia be able to spare military personel to support them. With the situation so bleak, the government bowed to Italian pressure to spare the people becoming the victims of unnecessary bloodshed. Italian forces are now moving into the small nation to take up new positions on the border with Ethiopia. It is unclear whether the occupation will be permanent, or how it will impact the wider Italian conflict with Ethiopia.
