What happens
As its nation grows into its neighbors, government attempts at creating historical continuity have become more and more apparent, evidently in an attempt to unify the people. The achievements of the Majapahit Empire among others have been strongly romanticized, but incessant propaganda seems to be having an effect on public opinion. Today, its government has taken this one step further and re-named the country to 'the nation' in homage to the region's history, hoping that it is something everyone in the region can relate to.
