Rise of the nation

As its nation grows into its neighbours, government attempts at creating historical continuity have become more and more apparent, evidently in an attempt to unify the people. The achievements of the Great Zimbabwean Empire have been strongly romanticized, but incessant propaganda seems to be having an effect on public opinion. Today, its government has taken this one step further and re-named the country to 'the nation', an announcement that was greeted by exuberant crowds in the streets of the major cities.
