What happens
Gabriel Terra, the President of Uruguay, announced last week that he was holding elections and stepping down from power, a rule which he extended through a coup d´etat in 1933. The power will hereby be handed down to Terra's brother in law, the pro-allied politician Alfredo Baldomir Ferrari.
