What happens
Earlier today our officers reportedly found Emperor Shōwa dead in his residence. They claim he was assassinated by foreign agents, but we cannot know for certain, for the truth may hurt us more than it would benefit us. Due to this threat, the military has declared martial law, and stated that Prince Chichibu, general of the Imperial Army will be crowned, as it would be too dangerous to continue the succession and give the crown to Akihito when the assailants may still be at large. Is this part of a greater conspiracy, or is there truly a foreign assailant?
