What happens
An almost total lack of investment over the past four years has led to many declaring the Four Year Plan a total failure. Eastern Poland remains an insular region of impoverished farmers, the so-called ‘central industrial region’ is no more than a few pitiful factories and railway stations, and Polish industry is an embarrassment to the nation. Financial experts are certain that the utter failure of the Four Year Plan will be a lasting detriment to future Polish industrial efforts.
