What happens
In an effort to push back against detribalization efforts and an overall demand for more autonomy, the newly formed Democratic Party of Kurdistan have formally requested that they function as a separate Socialist Republic within the nation. We have a choice to make here. We can either maintain control over this region ourselves, or we can hand it over to the Kurdistani people.
