What happens
Any chance of finding a diplomatic resolution to the unfolding Gulf crisis has evaporated following the other nation’s decision to send a naval task force to break our blockade in the region. If we wish to maintain any element of surprise, we should launch a preemptive strike immediately. Otherwise, we should probably climb down the escalation ladder.
