Silver Legion protests

Led and organized by the Silver Legion of America, a number of centrist and right-wing organizations today marched through the capital in one of the largest demostrations Washington has seen so far. Other gatherings have been reported all across the country. The march ended in front of the Capitol, where the crowd demanded that "Communists in Congress assembled" were delivered to them to stand trial before a "People's Grand Jury" for treason against the United States. Privately, some members of the administration share some of the protesters' more legitimate concerns about the rule of law and adherence to constitutional checks and balances. Others, however, suggest a hard line against them. With more demonstrations planned for the coming weeks, we must chose quickly.
