What happens
It came to pass today that the leader failed to secure the votes that needed to survive the Vote of No Confidence called against them in the eduskunta, our Parliament. Despite having served as president since 1931, and having enjoyed an extensive record of popular rule, standing was significantly diminished by refusing to include Social Democrats in the cabinet, breaking promises to do so. This political faux pas escalated into this political crisis, to which has now fallen victim.
