Chiang Kai-Shek Arrives in Guangzhou

With spirits high and arms raised higher, Chiang Kai-Shek arrived this morning with a small battalion as guards. It does however seem that accepting the offer wasn't a trap and negotiations started immediately. Chen Jitang and Li Zongren have both pushed Chiang to form a united front against the Japanese, even going so far as to cease hostilities with the communists for the time being. If this is the correct choice is hard to tell, but it may very well be.
