Sakdalista Exiles Return

Artemio Ricarte, returning from exile with a cadre of followers armed with a variety of Japanese arms have claimed to have found and apprehended the assassin of Manuel Quezon, and are now promising to work together with the constabulary in order to retain order during the crisis caused by the murder of the president. Because of the suspicions placed on the Sakdalistas movement, he has promised to work with the Ganap party in order to gain legitimacy, and thereby expedite independence from the United States as quickly as possible. In response, the Constabulary have withdrawn from Manila, ostensibly to not escalate tensions, meanwhile the American garrison has been placed on high alert, though has not as yet made any move.
