Eisenhower Requested By The Philippines

Supreme Commander of the United States Army Forces in the Far East, Douglas MacArthur has requested the services of his protege, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Eisenhower has already served under MacArthur when the latter was Chief of the Army, and clearly the elder general has seen his potential. We ourselves see Eisenhower as a rising star within the United States Army, and being in such an active and growing command could gain him a lot of experience. Eisenhower himself has stressed that he does not see this as a long-term appointment, and intends to return to the United States in two years once he has learned all he can from MacArthur and being an active duty staff officer.
