Douglas MacArthur Arrives In The Philippines

Excellent news! President the American leader has assigned General Douglas MacArthur to command the United States Army Forces in the Far East. We are very familiar with MacArthur as during his retirement he has acted as a military advisor here for a number of years, and his appointment and reactivation to regular service is a sure sign that America is serious about their responsibility for our defense. On his arrival in Manila, he immediately set about securing resources from America, and himself vowed to stand alongside our brave Filipino people against any incursion, and to the very last.
