What happens
Diplomats belonging to the other nation have approached us regarding the strengthening of our ties, something that was being curtailed by the military factions within their country, something that has now been dealt with. They wish for both trade, research and defensive agreements. Either we could sign off on one of these, or we could accept it all. It doesn't seem like a good idea to snub them entirely, after all the effort they went through to get here.
