What happens
The NKVD has uncovered evidence that members of the leadership in one of our design bureaus have been passing on information to foreign agencies. Furthermore, their recent design work was so riddled with flaws that a prototype needed extensive rework and iteration to be able to fly, which has led to speculation that this was an act of sabotage. The NKVD is currently interrogating the designers and engineers, and the lead investigator is confident that he will have confessions within days.
