The Rise of the Third Rome

Since the latest civil war wracked the country, the Orthodox Church in Russia has steadily gained power. Now, with their conquest of old Byzantium complete, they have taken the last steps to full unification of church and state. After a dual enthronement as Supreme Patriarch and coronation as Tsar of all the Russias, the Russian leader now leads the country that he has christened 'Russia' in pursuit of what he has called 'the will of God'.
