What happens
In delivering an ultimatum to the Turkish government, Germany has created a new enemy for itself. Rather than cave to the demands from German diplomats as the German leader expected, Turkey has agreed to a defensive alliance with Britain. Britain and her allies prepare to defend Turkey in case Germany acts on its ultimatum.
