Italian Foreign Office in Yugoslavia

Rather than confronting Yugoslavia over Italian populations on the Dalmatian coast, the nation has announced the establishment of a permanent diplomatic mission to Yugoslavia. According to a statement from its foreign ministry, the two countries have so much shared history and so many common interests that mutual understanding is far more important than a petty border dispute. With tensions rising across Europe, one can only hope more countries take this approach.
