London Agreement

Using the annexation of Austria into the Germany as the basis for their claim, Germany has now demanded the "rightful return" of the former Austrian territory of Slovenia from Yugoslavia. In response, the signatories of the Treaty of Versailles have gathered in London to discuss a solution to the "Slovenian Question." The Great Powers agreed that Slovenia should be ceded to Germany in a last ditch effort to retain peace. However, in an impassioned speech speaking against the German threat to European stability, the Yugoslavian leader declared unequivocally that Yugoslavia would refuse to give up even an inch of land, regardless of the fact that they stand utterly abandoned in their time of need.
