What happens
With more and more states refusing to follow directions from the legitimate government, the governors of Ohio, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Michigan have jointly declared that they will not tolerate any seditious behavior amongst their population. A new civil war, they argue, would leave the US dangerously weakened in the face of foreign aggression.
