What happens
In an unprecedented move, the new its government has distanced itself from their Great War allies in France, and have now instead announced an alliance with the Italians. This brusque shift in allegiance has caused shockwaves throughout the European diplomatic scene, and is especially eyed with suspicion in France and Germany, the latter of whom has already been the target of repeated hostile rhetoric from the leader.
