What happens
The mission to liberate Mussolini has been successful. The small unit of paratroopers successfully landed near the hotel and stormed the building without any shots being fired. The local guards stood down after realizing the hopelessness of resistance. Mussolini was subsequently flown out on a Fiesler Storch and returned to friendly lines, from where he will travel to meet the German leader.
