France proposes Intervention in Greece

The French ambassador has handed over a note from his government, pointing out our shared interests in the Eastern Mediterranean. The government of the leader appears particularly interested in acquiring the island of Crete as a naval base, but also notes that the existence of an 'unfriendly or hostile' government in Greece would make operations in the area much more difficult. As such, its government wants to sound us out for a possible joint intervention in Greece to install a more favorable government or to take over administration of the territories ourselves.
