What happens
The government of the leader has appointed a new plenipotentiary for the middle east. Meeting with the leader in our capital today, the French representative noted that the French government wishes to take a more active role in the region and expects to be consulted directly in all matters concerning the stability in the region. While he left open the consequences of denying this, he did note that the French government would find it 'difficult' to accept an independent foreign policy from our government.
