What happens
The America has decided to reject an agreement that would have committed us to supporting them militarily, in exchange for economic assistance. Perhaps the timing was simply inopportune for the President, or this could mark a shift in foreign policy towards Brazil. Either way, this is a blow to the Brazilian leader’s credibility.
