Britain denies ally request

'While we have enjoyed good relations in the past, we cannot risk an escalation of the conflicts across the channel. Germany has earned our trust in the honoring of our Naval Pact, and while we will defend ourselves should the fires spread we will not risk fanning the flames. Peace must always be the goal of any democratic nation.' Our request to join Britain as Allies has been denied. The British government is unwilling to antagonize Germany further, and will not jeopardize the current peace.
