What happens
The allied advance into Syria has stalled and Vichy forces have managed to consolidate a defensive line. Despite multiple, well-coordinated ttacks, the allied forces in the area have been unable to dislodge the defenders. Both sides have dug in and a cease-fire has been agreed upon, with Vichy still holding control over all relevan parts of the area.
