Hungary backs down

Despite the harsh rhetoric still coming out of Budapest, Hungarian forces near the border have retreated. Violations of our airspace have ceased. It appears that the Hungarian leader wants to keep this as quiet as possible, and there is consensus in the foreign office that he should be allowed to do so. A gesture of reconciliation is a small price to pay when we have so narrowly avoided a war.
