What happens
the other nation is claiming that they have a claim on the region after an election in 1919 where the majority of the region chose to join what at the time was the Swiss Confederation. As much as they've abandoned Democracy and the vote happened decades ago, giving them responsibility over this state could free up the resources we spend holding the territory, and could work as a test of the other nation's capabilities and more importantly, loyalties.
