What happens
With the power of the Papacy exceeding that of the Italian monarchy, many ardent supporters of the catholic church have today come out to demand the Pope take up leadership of the country. He has already accepted the role put forth by the people, and declared that what is happening today is indeed the will of God himself. There is not much the monarchy can do to stop him now.
