How to open the console

Open the console in Hearts of Iron IV by pressing the tilde key ~ while in-game. Depending on your keyboard layout, try one of these instead:

~`Shift + 2Shift + 3§

Type the command and press Enter. Note that using console commands disables achievements and is blocked in Ironman games — see the full guide.
